101st Airborne Division’s 3rd Brigade Combat Team to Host Innovation Panel with Industry Professionals

Fort Campbell, KY – Leaders from 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) will host an innovation panel from 10:00am to 12:00pm, August 10th, 2018 at Cole Park Commons, Fort Campbell, KY.

The panel members include retired Col. Rob Salome, Director, Strategy and Leadership Development for Solutions21, retired Col. Pete Newell, Managing Partner, BMNT, Lt. Col. Eddie Brown, Program Manager, Defense Innovation Unit (Experimental), Capt. Jay Long, 3rd Ranger Bn. Innovation Cell, 1st Lt. Lauren McCune, Deputy Program Manager, BMNT, and Mr. Tim Greeff, Founder and CEO, National Security Technology Accelerator.

3rd Brigade Combat Team to Host Innovation Panel

“Innovation is the conversion of new ideas into valued outcomes,” said Col. John P. Cogbill, Commander of 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division. “The purpose of this panel is to facilitate the generation and exchange of ideas between Rakkasan Soldiers and Defense Department innovation industry professionals with the end goal of helping to make the military organization more agile and adaptive to face unknown challenges in the future.”

The 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division is committed to maintaining the highest levels of readiness that the Army requires by providing ready, mobile, lethal, and non-lethal capabilities to meet global requirements.
