APSU Soccer - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University  (APSU) women’s soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw with Belmont in the Ohio Valley Conference home opener, Friday, September 14th at Morgan Brothers Soccer Field.

The Govs (5-2-1, 0-0-1) wasted no time in attacking with Claire Larose having a shot that went high in the first minute of the game.

Clarksville Police release detailed information today’s Robberies, Carjacking

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have released on the robberies which occurred earlier today, Friday, September 14th.

The first robbery occurred at Metro PCS, Tiny Town Road around 12:30pm. A man walked in the front door, pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money, which he was given. After being given the money, he also took some phones and then fled from the scene.

Four Clarksville Police Officers Receive Lifesaver Awards

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, September 14th, 2018, four officers were recognized for their actions during emergency situations and were each presented with Lifesaver Awards. The Lifesaver award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.

The officers receiving the awards were Officer Adam Post, Officer William Becker, Officer Michael Ciupka and Officer Morgan Baker.

Clarksville Police release update on Robber Carjacking Vehicle to escape

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have identified the robbery/carjacking suspect as Rico Mallory, age 29, height 6 ft, weight 225, black hair, and brown eyes. His picture is attached. There are some differences from the picture; he has bad complexion and has more of an unshaven look than a beard.

The stolen Ford F-150, black, crew cab, TN Tag M4260, has an orange TRISTAR license plate on the front and a teal TrISTAR sticker on the bottom left side of the back window.

Clarksville Police report Women’s Vehicle Carjacked by Robbery Suspect

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police request assistance with a carjacking that occurred today, Friday, September 14th, 2018 along with two robberies. Clarksville Police Officers spotted the vehicle and pursued.

The vehicle wrecked at 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Whitfield Road. The two men bailed out. CPD caught one of them.

Clarksville Police look to identify Person breaking into Money Drop Box

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying a woman who broke into a Madison Street apartment complex drop box September 3rd, 2018 between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

The woman can be seen in the surveillance video forcing open the box and stealing checks and money orders from the box. There was over $8,000 in checks and money orders taken.
