APSU Women's GolfLexington, KY – Despite a charge up the leaderboard from an Ohio Valley Conference foe, Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s golf held on for a runner-up finish at the Morehead State-hosted Greenbrier Invitational at Greenbrier Country Club, Tuesday, September 18th, 2018.

The Govs runner-up finish is their best since Amy McCollum took over as head coach last spring.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office arrest Jayce Jones, Jordy Jones for Child Abuse

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) investigators have arrested a married couple for aggravated child abuse and neglect.

Jayce Patrick Jones, 33, and Jordyn Compton Jones, 32, were taken into custody on Monday, September 17th, 2018.

Each were charged with three counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect – under 8 years of age.

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans (1-1) play their second consecutive divisional game this week, traveling to face the defending AFC South champion Jacksonville Jaguars (2-0). Kickoff at TIAA Bank Field (capacity 67,814) is scheduled for 1:00pm EDT/noon CDT on Sunday, September 23rd, 2018.

The Titans took both of their matchups with the Jaguars last season, winning 37-16 in Week 2 at TIAA Bank Field and 15-10 in Week 17 at Nissan Stadium. Prior to then, the Titans and Jaguars split the annual series every year from 2009–2016.

Clarksville Police add additional charges to Rico Mallory, William Carter

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, September 17th, 2018 Rico Mallory and William Joyvonne Carter were both charged by Clarksville Police Detective Jobe with Burglary, in conjunction with the break-in at Clarksville Auto Sales occurring between August 12th and August 13th, 2018. The warrants were served on them in the Montgomery County Jail.

The window of Clarksville Auto Sales building was broken, entry was made by multiple males, and car keys, vehicle titles, dealer plates, and cash were taken.

Clarksville Police arrest Arthur Mulkey for Sexual Battery

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police received a Department of Children Services referral in April 2018 of an alleged inappropriate contact between Arthur Mulkey, 74 and a female teenager under the age of 18.

CPD Detective Lambert investigated the allegation and did a presentment to the September 2018 Grand Jury. The grand jury returned a sealed indictment for four counts of Sexual Battery by an Authority figure.

Clarksville Police look to identify Motor Vehicle Theft Suspects

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify two suspects who stole two vehicles in two days.

The first vehicle, a white 2000 Chevy Silverado, September 6th, 2018 around 7:00pm, was stolen from Gary Mathews Motors at 1100 Ashland City Road.

On September 8th around 10:00am, the stolen Chevy Silverado was taken from Staf Orton Automotive at 1144 College Street under the guise of trading the truck in to test drive/ purchase a black 2004 Chevy Z71.

Blanchfield Army Hospital - BACH - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Fort Campbell Warrior Transition Battalion staff welcomed back Army families, showing their continued support, during a Gold Star Family breakfast and memorial garden rededication at the battalion September 13th, 2018.

The annual breakfast is put together by the WTB’s military and civilian staff to honor the memory and support the families of the 37 WTB Soldiers who fought their final battle at the battalion.

Dunbar Cave State Park to honor National Public Lands Day, September 22nd

The cave and its surrounding 110 acres have considerable scenic, natural and historical significance. The entrance offered shelter to prehistoric Native Americans as far back as 10,000 years.
