Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 12:00pm, Clarksville Civic Groups partner up to hold a “Meet the Candidates Forum” at G’s Pancake House Restaurant.
The Coffee Party of Clarksville, Tennessee in partnership with the Clarksville-Montgomery County NAACP, the Clarksville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and the Clarksville – Montgomery County, League Of Voter Empowerment (L.O.V.E.) have partnered up to host this event.
This forum will give the public the opportunity to hear the candidates’ views on some of the very important issues that are affecting their community. By listening to the candidate’s platform and agenda, voters will be able to make an informed vote on Election Day!
The October 6th “Meet the Candidates Forum” will have candidates present for the following positions, (U.S. Senate, U.S. Congress, Governor of Tennessee, Tennessee State House, City of Clarksville Mayor, and Clarksville City Council).
Candidates from the Democratic Party, Republican Party, Green Party as well as Independent candidates for all elected positions have been invited.
This event is free and open to the public. We urge everyone to attend.
