Reigning Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Runner of the week Wesley Gray intends on extending his hot streak this Saturday and lead his veteran Governor teammates to another successful meet.

Thomas Porter has not lost a step this season; recording a top-two finish for the Govs in every race this season and will look to pursue another stellar performance.

Senior Hezron Kiptoo set his season best at last week’s home meet and will strive for another good finish as the Govs have officially reached the second half of their season.

Tyler Smith is looking to go low once again; he has been chipping away his times in every race and will try to break the 20-minute barrier. The duo of Daniel Davis and Nash Young both aim to be right with the Governors’ top-four runners as they plan to execute the form of pack running in hopes of achieving their seasons’ best times.

The Governors will have an obstacle at hand this weekend as host Louisville earned runner-up last week at the Commodore Classic in Nashville, Tennessee. The Cardinals also had a runner to receive recognition this week as Emmanuel Cheboson received the ACC Freshman Performer of the Week.
