The 20th iteration of the event features 11 teams and 13 individuals for 68 total players.

For the second time in its history, this will be a 54-hole event; Monday’s first day will feature 36 holes, beginning with an 8:00am shotgun start.

Two-time defending champion Southern Illinois is not back to defend its 2016 and 2017 wins, but the Govs will be joined by a large field of quality opponents.

2018-19 APSU Women's Golf - Meghann StampsThe Ohio Valley Conference will be well-represented by Belmont, Eastern Illinois, Morehead State, Murray State and Tennessee State, giving this an OVC Championship feel to it.

Head coach Amy McCollum‘s alma mater Radford will be in attendance, as will 2017 runner-up ULM, UNC Asheville, Findlay and North Alabama, which started its program this year.

Junior Meghann Stamps comes into this tournament on a tear, having posted three top-10 finishes in her last four starts dating back to last season. She hopes to reprise her freshman showing in this event, when she made her Austin Peay debut with a sixth-place showing at Greystone Golf Club.

2018-19 APSU Women's Golf - Taylor GoodleySeniors Taylor Goodley and Reagan Greene look for solid finishes in their final home tournaments, and there is history to suggest that both will be near the top of the leaderboard.

Goodley has a third-place finish (as a freshman) and runner-up (sophomore) in the home tournament during her career, while Greene’s first appearance as a Gov last season yielded a seventh-place finish. Greene will slot into the lineup as the No. 2, with Goodley playing as the No. 4.

Freshmen Taylor Dedmen and Shelby Darnell will make their home debuts after excellent starts to their respective Austin Peay careers.

Dedmen has three straight top-20 finishes, a first for a Governor freshman since 2006-07, while Darnell led last week’s Chris Banister Classic in par-3 scoring (2.92/hole) after leading the Greenbrier Invitational in par-5 scoring two weeks ago.

Senior Ashton Goodley and sophomore Andrea Presilla will play as individuals this week; Presilla made her Austin Peay debut in this event last year, while Goodley seeks her first career top-10 in her final home appearance.

Live scoring will be available for this event via GolfStat.com, and on-course coverage will be available on Twitter @AustinPeayWGO. A complete recap, photo gallery and full component of stats will be available at the end of both days of competition at LetsGoPeay.com.
