Nashville Predators defeat Minnesota Wild 4-2

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators completed their five game home stand with a 4-2 win over the visiting Minnesota Wild tonight at Bridgestone Arena.  After a disappointing opening night loss, the Preds have now reeled off four straight wins, improving to 5-1 on the season.

Craig Smith put the Predators up 1-0 on a backhander that beat Wild starting goalie, Alex Stalock, with assists from P.K Subban and Ryan Johansen.  Stalock got the start over Devan Dubnyk for Minnesota.

Clarksville Police ask public help to Identify Storage Burglars

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify suspects in multiple storage unit burglaries on Tiny Town Road and Sinclair Drive between September 25th-30th, 2018.

There method of operation seems to be attempting to make entry through a gated entrance by trying random access codes. If they are unsuccessful, they move to a secluded location, not visible to the general public and make a forced entry.

Clarksville Police respond to Shots Fired Call, Turns Out to be Dog Attack

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A little after noon today, Monday, October 15th, 2018, Clarksville Police Officers responded to a shots fired call at 203 Riley Road, Lot #16. Before officers arrived, the nature of the call had changed. It was reclassified as a dog bite call.

Initially, the person calling 911 thought someone had been shot due to the the victims’ wounds. When officers arrived on scene, they found four victims outside of the trailer with dog bites of varying severity.

Clarksville Police say Man Late for Work Fabricates a Robbery Story

On the morning of October 11th, 2018 around 8:40am, Damien Gonzales walked into a police precinct and told officers that around 6:30am, he was outside of his residence and had started his car to warm the engine.

Fort Campbell reports Soldier shot on base, Sunday

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – Shortly before 10:00pm on Sunday, October 14th, 2018 all gates on Fort Campbell were closed for approximately 55 minutes while military police investigated a shooting in on-post housing. The shooting resulted in the death of a Soldier and the spouse being taken into custody. The names of those involved are being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

“Our hearts and prayers are with the Families involved. Any loss of a Soldier has a profound impact on the entire Army Family,” said Brig. Gen. K. Todd Royar, acting senior commander, 101st Airborne Division and Fort Campbell.
