CMCSS announces Four Rossview High School Students won first place at Tennessee Junior Chef competition

Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS)Montgomery County, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) announces that four of Rossview High School’s Culinary students, Kamyia Parks, Bracey Hester, Chanel Johnson, and McKinley Key won first place in the statewide Tennessee Junior Chef competition.

These students not only received a huge trophy but they also each received a $16,000 college scholarship.

This qualifies them to compete at the Southeastern Junior Chef competition in Louisville, Kentucky where they can win additional scholarship monies.

Rossview High School’s Jeff Price has been selected as the 2017-2018 State of Tennessee Girls’ Wrestling Coach of the Year.

Rossview High School’s Parker Holman has been selected as the 2017-2018 State of Tennessee Baseball Coach of the Year.

Information on each coach selected will be submitted to the National Federation of High School Associations. The NFHS will recognize each coach later this year.

NFHS sent congratulatory letters to Rossview High School principal Dr. Schanda Doughty, writing for both coaches, “This is a tremendous honor and your coach is very deserving of these accolades. We congratulate your school and coach(es) on this outstanding accomplishment.”
