Montgomery County Government Seeks Local Nominations for Governor’s Volunteer Stars Program

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Government wants to know if you know of an adult or youth who should be acknowledged for their volunteer service, they could be honored statewide through the Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards (GSVA). The nominations are due by December 5th, 2018.

The GSVA promotes the importance of volunteering by recognizing those who are committed to local community service.

Governor’s Volunteer Stars Awards

Montgomery County is looking for a youth and an adult candidate to represent the community.

The nominations will be judged by a local committee and sent to the volunteer Tennessee staff in Nashville. A recognition banquet will be held February 10th, 2019 when the recipients from participating counties will be honored.
