Clarksville Police warn Business Owners with Shipping Containers to Beware

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that thieves broke into a shipping container at the 2100 block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 around 2:00am and stole four Samsung front-load washers valued at approximately $3,000.

The unidentified suspects broke into several of the containers before they found one with the new washers inside. The suspects were driving a black older model pickup, possibly with a missing tailgate, and loaded the appliances in the back.

The pickup appeared to have hit an open pod door with the front of the truck as it was backing up, before leaving the scene.

We wanted to make business owners aware that shipping containers were broker into and to take extra precautions to watch or secure your containers.

The image of the stolen appliances is attached and some images as the theft took place.
