Clarksville Police Department
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that around 2:00pm Monday, December 24th, 2018, a 51 year old woman was driving a new vehicle she recently purchased.
She drove onto the parking lot of Discount Tobacco located at 373 Dover Road and for an unknown reason, hit the accelerator instead of the brake.
She ran the car over the curb and crashed into the business.
There were people inside but no one was injured.
The driver was uninjured.
The driver was cited for failure to use due care.
