At the bottom of this aerial view of the new Task Force 3-502nd Memorial at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, you can see the original memorial. The new memorial is nearly five times the size of the original and will provide ample space for the 256 sugar maples to flourish. There also will be walkways throughout the memorial with on oval opening among the trees where Gander Families hope to eventually place benches. (Courtesy Graphic)
