Clarksville Police to participate in Polar Plunge at Austin Peay State University

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department will be taking part in the 2019 Polar Plunge. CPD invites everyone to come on out and jump in with us for Special Olympics.

The Clarksville Police Tip A Cop fundraiser was recently held at O’Charleys on North Riverside Drive and $3539 raised for Special Olympics in a single day. It was the largest amount ever raised in Tennessee during a Tip A Cop lunch event

2019 Polar Plunge

Come and join hundreds of brave individuals on Saturday, February, 2nd, 2019 and support Special Olympics Tennessee athletes by jumping into a freezing pool of water at Austin Peay State University Foy Fitness and Recreation Center Swimming Pool.

With just $50.00 in donations ($30.00 for children & students) each plunger receives the official long-sleeved Plunge t-shirt, a complimentary lunch and all bragging rights associated with such a brave endeavor.

Proceeds from the Polar Plunge will benefit Special Olympics of Tennessee.

Austin Peay State University’s Foy Fitness Swimming Pool is located at 451 Marion Street in Clarksville, TN.
