Nearly $16,000 in Great Idea Grants awarded to Local Educators by Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation

Clarksville-Montgomery County Education FoundationClarksville, TN – For the past 9 years, the Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation has offered Clarksville-Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) educators the opportunity to compete for funds that support innovation in their classrooms and special educational projects in a non-traditional way.

This year, 17 out of 57 applicants were awarded up to $1,000 each to implement their ideas, which will directly impact over 5,000 CMCSS students and even more indirectly.

Awards were based on a competitive rubric and its potential impact school-wide or in the classroom.
