Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office holds retirement ceremony for James McManama

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) would like to congratulate Lieutenant James McManama on his retirement from the Sheriff’s Office.

Lt. McManama began his career with Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in 2000 as a Civil Process Deputy. He was promoted to Sergeant over Courts in 2010 and was promoted to Lieutenant over Courts and Civil Process in 2012.

Prior to working at the Sheriff’s Office he served in the United States Army from 1978-2000.

He worked as a Military Policeman and Investigator.

During his tenure at the Sheriff’s Office he attended numerous schools and training courses with the University of Tennessee, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy.

Lt. McManama will be greatly missed and we wish him the best in his retirement years.
