Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators can’t seem to find a way to win games lately, falling tonight to the visiting Detroit Red Wings, 3-2.
This is the third consecutive loss for the home boys, and Detroit comes away with a sweep of the two game series.
It wasn’t from lack of effort, which coach Peter Laviolette is pleased with, they just can’t seem to catch a break or get the puck to bounce in their favor.
Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO)
Clarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three suspects responsible for vandalism to a car wash.
The incident occurred on January 10th, 2019 around 1:00am at the Sudz Auto Wash located at 1860 Highway 48.
The suspects removed pieces from the automatic car wash, put a hole in the ceiling, and accessed the boiler room. They also searched through a toolbox.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have once again caught, Jacob Ryan Herdman, age 20 and charged him with Five Counts of Vehicle Burglary break-ins occurring between February 5th and 6th, 2019 in the area of Shadowlawn Court and Ambleside Drive.
After video surveillance footage was released to the public from one of the vehicle burglaries, police received information pointing them to Jacob Herdman.

The potential victim receives an email Notice of Traffic Violation from firstname.lastname@example.org informing them they’ve been “cited with a traffic violation and must pay your citation within 72 hours.
Austin Peay State University alumnus establishes the Emily Rawlins Allensworth Endowment in memory of his mother

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) alumnus Stephen K. Allensworth recently donated $28,000 to the APSU Foundation to honor the memory of his late mother by creating the Emily Rawlins Allensworth Endowment, an endowed scholarship program to benefit APSU students.
Emily was one of the first students to graduate from Austin Peay Normal School.

City of Clarksville
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Parks and Recreation closed several park areas Tuesday because of rising water, and the Clarksville Street Department and Clarksville Police continued to monitor roads and travel conditions as more rain was forecast.
Water issues closed sections of Liberty Park, including the Bark Park and Clarksville Marina, officials said. Boat ramps at McGregor Park and Billy Dunlop Park were also closed by high water, along with the canoe and kayak launch at Robert Clark Park.
