Clarksville Police arrest repeat offender Jacob Herdman for Five Vehicle Burglaries

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have once again caught, Jacob Ryan Herdman, age 20 and charged him with Five Counts of Vehicle Burglary break-ins occurring between February 5th and 6th, 2019 in the area of Shadowlawn Court and Ambleside Drive.

After video surveillance footage was released to the public from one of the vehicle burglaries, police received information pointing them to Jacob Herdman.

As the investigation progressed, he was linked to five burglaries where the property taken from the vehicles exceeded $1200 in value.

When Clarksville Police Officers located Herdman around 11:30am today, Tuesday, February 12th, he fled on foot but was quickly taken in custody at Dover Road and Walk Road.

He was booked in the Montgomery County Jail on Five Counts of Vehicle Burglary, Resisting Stop, Frisk, Halt, Search. His bond is set at $55,000.

Jacob Herdman has a lengthy criminal history involving theft, vehicle burglary, and violation of probation.
