Cumberland City, TN – Yellow Creek Baptist Church will be holding their annual Community Easter Egg Hunt this coming Saturday, April 20th, 2019. Registration starts at 9:00am and the Easter Egg hunt begins just after 10:00am.
There will be 20,000 eggs filled with candy scattered between the three fields. The Easter Egg hunt will be divided into three divisions: Pre-K, K-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade.
“We would love to have everyone come out with your family for the hunt.” said Brother Phillip Chambers, Senior Pastor. “It’s a lot of fun in a safe environment.”
The egg hunt is divided into divisions so that the bigger kids are separate from the little kids.
There will be 200 eggs with door prize tickets in each division. Prizes include: Bicycles, Scooters and Easter Baskets.
The Easter Bunny will also be available for pictures.
“We are glad to do this for the community and tickled for everyone to come. I want everyone to know they are welcome to worship with us anytime at Yellow Creek,” said Chambers.
New this year, there will be a second Easter Egg Hunt for the children at Ramblewood Apartments in Clarksville Tennessee. It will start at 5:00pm on Saturday, April 20th. There will be 4,000 eggs in this hunt. We will hide eggs beginning at 4:30pm, plus we are grilling out food for all the residents.
Yellow Creek will also be holding their Easter Sunday worship on April 21st. Sunrise Service with breakfast will be at 7:00am with breakfast to follow. Worship is at 8:30am, with breakfast before. Sunday School for all ages will be at 10:00am, and Worship is at 11:00am. Nursery available for all services.

Yellow Creek Baptist Church envisions a church that makes a difference in the lives of people in our ministry area and throughout the world.
Services are Sundays at 8:30am and another at 11:00am. They are identical services, same sermon, same music, same everything. Sunday School is at 10:00am.
On Wednesday night, they eat supper together at 5:45pm. It’s free. It doesn’t cost anything. Then they have team kid for their pre-k and elementary school ages. They have youth group for Middle and High Schoolers. For the adults, they have a class in the sanctuary.
Everyone is welcome to come worship with them, come as you are. Pastor Phillip Chambers will probably be the only guy in the room with a tie on. You can wear whatever you want to wear. They just want you to come join them.
