Paladini-Jennings, originally from London, England, enters her sophomore season after spending one year at East Carolina.

She was a mainstay in the lineup for a Pirate team that went on a 22-match win streak, like the Governors this season, but fell in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament to Cincinnati.

Paladini-Jennings played in the lineup ranging from the No. 1 to the No. 5 spots, but normally played at the No. 3 or No. 4 position. She collected a 17-8 overall and 11-5 dual match singles record, with a 9-4 record at the No. 3 and 4 spots in the lineup.

Paladini-Jennings also managed to compile a 7-5 overall doubles record, along with a 4-1 record in the spring.

“We are delighted to have Martina join our team this fall,” said Brown. “She has experience at the highest collegiate level, talented, athletic, and will compete hard for us. Martina has good doubles skills and is strong academically. I think the most important thing, though, is that she will fit into our team’s culture and add depth to our lineup.”
