Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are looking to identify a man that stole a vehicle which was left running unattended at a business at 990 Alfred Thun Road on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 around 11:55pm.
The man went inside to purchase cigarettes and left his vehicle running and unlocked. When he was returning to his car, he saw it being driven away by an unknown person.
Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police responded to a shooting in the parking lot of Longhorn Steakhouse located at 2788 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on Wednesday night, June 5th, 2019. The two men were shot and later succumbed to their injuries and died.
The two men killed last night in the parking lot of Longhorn Steakhouse are James Ramsey, age 37, of Clarksville Tennessee and John Allgood, age 53 of Clarksville Tennessee.

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, May 4th, 2019 the Senate passed S. 1235, the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commemorative Coin Act by unanimous consent. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) introduced this legislation with Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) on April 30th, 2019 to honor the centennial and the legacy of the suffragists with a commemorative coin minted by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
“The Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commemorative Coin will serve as a year-long reminder to keep sharing the stories that shape our history,” said Senator Blackburn.
Edelweiss Club of Clarksville establishes endowed scholarship for Austin Peay State University students
Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) recently received a donation of $123,000 from the Clarksville Edelweiss Club to create the Edelweiss Club of Clarksville German Endowment. Edelweiss Club President Mary Ann Miner and Carl Eisemann presented the gift to APSU President Dr. Alisa White and retired Lt. Gen. Ronald Bailey, APSU vice president for external affairs, at a signing ceremony on May 10th, 2019.
Fort Campbell, KY – The Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) patient-centered medical home teams are offering extended-hours clinics in the afternoon for BACH-enrolled TRICARE Prime children to receive school and sports physicals this summer.
If your child had a school or sports physical completed at one of BACH’s medical homes within the last 12 months and has had no medical changes, it is not necessary to receive another physical. BACH medical home patients who do not need a new physical may contact their care team to have the required school forms completed.
Paperwork may take up to three business days to complete.

Yavoriv, Ukraine – Soldiers of Task Force Carentan, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) participated in the opening ceremony for the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the Yavoriv Combat Training Center here, June 3rd, 2019.
