Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN –  On Tuesday, June 11th, 2019, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department will close its 2215 Madison Street customer drive thru window and night deposit area at 7:00am for roof top heating and air unit work.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department customer service center will be open and accepting utility bill payments.

Alabama Truck Driver May Be Connected To Additional Crimes, Victims

Tennessee Bureau of InvestigationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Clarksville Police Department (CPD) are asking the public’s assistance in an ongoing investigation into a man who may be connected to more than the one crime for which he already faces charges.

At the request of 19th District Attorney General John Carney, TBI Agents joined the investigation into Roy Michel Nellsch (DOB 12-31-56) earlier this week.

Clarksville Police request public help to locate Two Suspects with Warrants

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Detectives identified two suspects during an investigation into recent vehicle burglaries and thefts and have taken warrants for their arrest.

Police are trying to locate the two individuals with warrants on file.

Crystal Smith, age 42, is wanted for Vehicle Burglary.

The crime hit home with particular force for Mayor Pitts, who was dining inside the restaurant with a group of friends and family members when the crime occurred outside.

Montgomery County holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Wade Bourne Nature Center

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – On Tuesday afternoon, June 4th, 2019, around 70 people came out to celebrate the groundbreaking for the Wade Bourne Nature Center at Montgomery County’s Rotary Park. Expected to open summer 2020, the nature center is named in honor of Wade Bourne because of his long-time passion and commitment to conservation and the outdoors.

Clarksville Police Department has Two Officers receive Lifesaver Awards

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Two Clarksville Police officers were recognized for their actions during an emergency situation and were presented with Lifesaver Awards on Friday, June 7th, 2019. The Lifesaver award is given to officers whose direct actions saves or extends the life of another person.

The officers receiving the awards were Officer Brandan Hendricks and Officer Shavell Lucas. The awards were presented for the following actions:

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Movies in the Park to show Beauty and the Beast” June 8th

 

Clarksville’s Heritage Park will host free Movie Screening, Vendors, and Fun.

Clarksville's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s free outdoor movie series Movies in the Park to be held this Saturday, June 8th, 2019 with the showing of “Beauty and the Beast” at Heritage Park located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road.

Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation, will begin at 6:30pm and include a demonstration using liquid nitrogen by Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM.

Montgomery County Animal Care and Control, Fort Campbell sign Intergovernmental Support Agreement

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Today, June 6th, 2019, the United States Army and Montgomery County Government signed an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) at the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters rotunda, Fort Campbell, KY at 10:30am.

Under the IGSA, Montgomery County Animal Care and Control (MCACC) will take over operation of Fort Campbell’s Stray Animal Program.
