Nashville Sounds defeat Memphis Redbirds 17-11 in hit fest

 

Nashville SoundsMemphis, TN – The Nashville Sounds used five big innings to come from behind to beat the Memphis Redbirds 17-11 Wednesday night at AutoZone Park. The come from behind win included a six run eighth inning scamper.

The Nashville Sounds used five big innings, including a six-run top of the eighth, to dispatch the Memphis Redbirds in a crazy 17-11 game Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.

Nashville scored three in the first inning, two in the fifth, four in the sixth, six in a bizarre eighth inning and two more in the ninth to notch their fifth win over the last seven games.

Clarksville Police Department has Three graduate from Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Three Clarksville Police Department Officers graduated from twelve weeks of training at the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy on Friday, June 21st, 2019.

CPD wants to congratulate the officers for successfully graduating the academy. They will now embark on a 14 week of field training program with veteran Field Training Officers to build on the basic law enforcement skills imparted to them at the academy.

Clarksville Police respond to vehicle fatality on Dunbar Cave Road

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Wednesday, June 26th, 2019, Clarksville Police worked a single vehicle fatality crash which occurred around 1:00pm.

A woman in her 50s was driving a Toyota Sequoia west on Dunbar Cave Road (heading from Warfield Boulevard toward Wilma Rudolph Boulevard), went off the right side of the roadway for an unknown reason, and crashed in to a tree around 581 Dunbar Cave Road (located between Wingate Drive and Idlewood Drive) .

Clarksville Police were called to Dunbar Cave Road today where a Toyota Sequoia went off the road and stuck a tree. The driver passed away from her injuries.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department to temporarily disrupt Natural Gas Service in Welchview Subdivision

 

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – On Thursday, June 27th, 2019, the Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) will begin a natural gas distribution system maintenance and service line upgrade project in the Welchview subdivision

Work will take place on week days and some Saturdays during daylight hours by Clarksville Gas Department personnel to replace several, but not all, customer service lines and to relocate the gas meter where necessary.

Clarksville Police are trying to identify Vehicle Thieves

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Monday, June 24th, 2019, suspects in this video who stole a silver 2006 BMW from a Carousel Court home according to Clarksville Police. Police are trying to identify the suspects.

The suspects were able to get access to the keys which were inside of the residence. The car was found in Nashville abandoned 24 hours later.

Clarksville Police arrest Tiffani Hudson for Aggravated Child Abuse, Warrants issued for Carl Hudson

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Tuesday, June 25th, 2019 around 1:30pm, Clarksville Police responded to a call about a woman who was possibly high with three children at the residence that had what appeared to be chemical burns to their face.

Detective Fatula arrived on scene, and the children were transported to the hospital.

The three children, between the ages of one and five, had visible and varying signs of injury.

Clarksville Police are looking for Carl Hudson. Hudson has Three Aggravated Child Abuse warrants on file.

Clarksville’s Movies in the Park to show “Aquaman” this Saturday

 

Clarksville's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – This Saturday, June 29th, 2019, Movies in the Park will feature “Aquaman” at Heritage Park. In it’s 14th season, Movies in the Parks is the City of Clarksville’s free, outdoor movie series.

Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30pm and include walking on water with Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM and experiencing breathing underwater with Waterdogs Scuba and Safety.
