Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) will start a month long 6-inch water main installation contract project on Locust Street on Monday, July 8th, 2019.
The work will close Locust Street to through traffic daily, Monday-Friday, at 7:00am until 5:30pm from Providence Boulevard to E Street.
However, local residents will have access during the work.
Motorists will be redirected to Market Street and Chapel Street to access E Street.
The water main installation work is planned to be finished and the road reopened by August 2nd.
