APSU Women’s Tennis adds Aleksandra Topalovic for 2019-20 season

APSU Women's TennisClarksville, TN – The 2019 Ohio Valley Conference champion Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis team has added Aleksandra Topalovic for the 2019-20 campaign.

The Memphis transfer went 4-6 during the fall in both singles and doubles for the Tigers as a freshman after journeying across the pond from The Harefield Academy in London.

She won matches at the Missouri Invitational and the ITA Regional Championships during the fall.

Prior to her time in Memphis, Topalovic won the U18 in Great Britain and was a top-25 player in her native country.

“We are thrilled to have Aleks join our Governors family!” said Austin Peay head coach Ross Brown. “She has the right attitude that goes with our culture here at APSU. She is a very talented player, she’s going to bring great experience and depth to our lineup. Aleks competitive spirit is going to make a positive impact on our program!”
