Clarksville Parks and Recreation to hold Rally on the Cumberland on August 3rd

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Saturday, August 3rd, 2019, the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department will be holding the seventh Rally on the Cumberland at 8:00am.

The race will at the Montgomery County Conservation Club and end at the Liberty Park boat ramp.

The race will be paddled in heats and include the following divisions: Youth, Beginner (singles), Beginner (doubles), Intermediate (singles), Intermediate (doubles), Advanced (singles), and Advanced (doubles).

The entry fee is $10.00 per paddler, ages 13-17; and $20.00 per adult, ages 18 and up. All participants in the race must provide their own boat. Those who do not own a canoe/kayak, may can contact our official outfitter, Blueway Adventure at 931.320.8466.

Registration is available online at www.cityofclarksville.com/parksrec and ends Thursday, August 1st. No walk ups or late entries will be accepted, so register soon.

The Montgomery County Conservation Club is located at 1182 7 Mile Ferry Road, in Clarksville.

Liberty Park is located at 1188 Cumberland Drive, Clarksville.
