Clarksville Police report Pedestrian hit on Fort Campbell Boulevard

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Friday, July 26th, 2019 around 8:12pm, Clarksville Police report a red Dodge Dakota driven by Charles Suttle was traveling south in the right hand lane of Fort Campbell Boulevard and struck a pedestrian, a 28 year old male.

There is no clear indication of where the pedestrian was located at the time of impact. The driver didn’t see the pedestrian until impact.

The pedestrian was taken by LifeFlight to the Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of injuries where he is now listed as stable. While investigating the crash, Officer Bailey detected the odor of alcohol, conducted field sobriety test and took the driver into custody for suspected DUI.

Charles Suttle, age 38, was booked for DUI with a bond of $2500.
