Manna Café set to move to Manna Village in August

Manna Café MinistriesClarksville, TN – The Director and staff of Manna Café Ministries are pleased to announce that Manna Café will be making its full and permanent move to the Manna Village located at 605 Providence Boulevard in August.

“Our plan was to move all operations from our current location to the Village in about a year, but our time frame is now 30 days. This is both exciting and daunting,” says director Kenny York.

“Our team is up to the challenge, but we’re also asking the residents of Clarksville-Montgomery County to rally together and assist us with this exciting transition,” York stated.

The last day of food box distribution at Manna Café’s current location (1319 Franklin Street) will be August 23rd. The tentative opening date for food box distribution at the Manna Village is September 16th. Mobile Café hot meals will possibly shut down from August 25th–September 16th.

Kenny explains, “These dates are subject to change, but we’ll keep the community informed as we make the shift.”

Manna Café is asking for extra volunteers to make sure the move to the Manna Village goes smoothly. ( To volunteer, go to www.MannaCafeMinistries.com/Volunteer ) Since the time frame has accelerated, funding efforts have accelerated as well, so they are also requesting financial support. Completing the move will require an additional $35,000. Included in this is temporary kitchen rental, refrigerated trailer rental, additional manpower payroll, the cost of moving walk-in coolers, and the list goes on. All donations, whether $20.00 or $5,000, are deeply appreciated.
