Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office announces Promotions, Transfers

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office would like to congratulate Lieutenant Steve Heise and Sergeant Bishop Delaney on their recent promotions.

Lieutenant Heise began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in August 2001 as a Deputy in the Patrol Division. He was promoted to Corporal/Field Training Officer in August 2005 and to Investigator in November 2010.

Heise was promoted to Investigator Sergeant in August 2013. He brings 18 years of experience to his new position.

Sergeant Delaney began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in September 1999 as a Deputy in the Detention Services Bureau.

Delaney transferred to Criminal Warrants in October 2002.

He earned his P.O.S.T. Certification in July 2003. He transferred to the Patrol Division in March 2004 and was promoted to Corporal/Field Training Officer in December 2010.

Delaney was promoted to Investigator in December 2014. In August 2014 he transferred to a School Resource Officer position. He brings nearly 20 years of diverse law enforcement experience to his new position.
