Clarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County has presented Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts with a framed custom-designed print celebrating Clarksville and the Habitat mission of partnering with local families to build affordable housing.
Hatch Show Print created the poster, which Habitat for Humanity commissioned and is using as part of a local promotional and fundraising campaign.

Hatch Show Print, a working letterpress print shop that has created iconic images since 1879, is part of the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Nashville Tennessee.
The prints are $20.00 and available at the Habitat ReStore, 404 Madison Street Proceeds support the mission of Habitat to eliminate poverty housing in Clarksville and Montgomery County and to make decent, affordable shelter for all people a matter of conscience.
“We wanted to do something a little creative to expand and promote Habitat’s local brand,” said Rob Selkow, Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County. “This image stresses the importance of home and community.”
Habitat for Humanity uses has a proven model to partner with families who are in need, are willing to put some sweat equity into building their own home, and have the ability to repay a zero-interest mortgage.
The City of Clarksville has long partnered with Habitat, often donating reclaimed residential lots on which the agency builds homes. Several home building projects, coordinated with the City’s Office of Housing and Community Development, are underway.
“Habitat does great work to provide affordable housing to families in our community, and the City of Clarksville is happy to work with them and support their vital mission,” Mayor Pitts said.
