Clarksville Police locate Vehicle, Drive involved in Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have located the trailer and driver involved in the fatal pedestrian crash at Riverside Drive and College Street Tuesday night in Beechmont, KY. The crash occurred Tuesday morning, September 3rd, 2019.

An inspection of the trailer determined the trailer was involved in the fatal crash which occurred around 10:42am Riverside Drive and College Street.

Kentucky State Police and Clarksville Police Department worked together to secure search warrants for the trailer that enabled law enforcement to bring the trailer to Tennessee for processing by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Police identified the driver and are working to set up an interview; the driver’s identity is not being released at this time.

The active investigation is still in its infancy and releasing additional information tied to the case or making conclusions would be premature and potentially compromise the case.

The pedestrian’s information is not being released at this time.
