City of Clarksville announces Transportation Plan available for review

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will begin a 30-day review and comment period on the Draft FY2020-23 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and corresponding draft Conformity Determination Report (CDR). The review period will be from September 30th to October 30th.

Clarksville Urbanized Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO)

The draft TIP establishes projects for major construction and public transit over the four-year period, using available and projected Federal money.

The draft CDR shows that transportation investments in the draft TIP conform to the State Implementation Plan in meeting federal air quality standards.

Citizens, affected public agencies, employees of transportation agencies, various stakeholder groups and other interested parties are encouraged to review and comment on the draft TIP and draft CDR.

The drafts will be available in hard copy for review from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday from September 30th to October 30th at these locations:

Written comments may be submitted or emailed at any time during the comment period to:

The MPO staff will be available at the Clarksville-Montgomery County Regional Planning Commission to answer questions and accept comments from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Friday through October 30th.

The MPO Executive Board will conduct a public meeting at 11:00am Thursday, October 31st at the RPC Office to review and consider the TIP, CDR and related documents.
