Clarksville-Montgomery County area TDOT Work starting September 26th, 2019

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reports that in Montgomery County there will be resurfacing and curb ramp installation on SR 12 nightly from 7:00pm until 5:00am.

There will be lane closures on SR 12 (Fort Campbell Boulevard) between Red River Bridge and the SR 374 junction.

Lane Closure

Cheatham County

Resurfacing SR 12 from SR 455 to Davidson County Line
Daily from 8:00am until 4:00pm, there will be lane closures for resurfacing on SR 12 from SR 455 to the Davidson County line.

Davidson County

Daily, 9:00am-3:00pm, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound between MM 92 and MM 95 for blasting.

Friday, September 27th, 10:00pm-5:00am, there will be a lane closure of the inside lane on the I-40 westbound Broadway/Church Street exit (MM 209) for attenuator work.

Interstate 440 Reconstruction
Daily, from 9:00am until 3:00pm, there will be a right lane closure on SR 6 (Franklin Pike southbound) at LM 5.5 for bridge work.

Nightly, from 9:00pm until 5:00am, there will be lane closures and temporary ramp closures at the I-440 and I-65 interchange. There will also be intermittent ramp closures at Nolensville Road and Murphy Road for concrete removal.

From now through August 2020, I-440 will be restricted to two travel lanes in each direction from 5:00am-9:00pm and one travel lane in each direction from 9:00pm-5:00am.

I-24 Weekend Closure

Repair of the bridges on I-24 over US 31 E (SR6) over Woodland Street (LM 14.54) and the Cumberland River (LM 15.23)
On Friday, September 27th at 9:00pm through Monday, September 30th at 5:00am, I-24 will be closed on the downtown interstate loop from I-40 at the Silliman Evans Bridge to I-65 to repair bridge joints at the Woodland Street, Main Street, and Silliman Evans bridges.

Interstate traffic will be detoured to I-40 and I-65. East Nashville traffic will be able to access local routes to cross the Cumberland River, including Shelby Avenue, Main Street, Woodland Street, and Spring Street. Map with detour information is available here.

Local traffic will be able to access I-24 westbound at Spring Street and I-24 eastbound at Shelby Avenue.

This is the last weekend closure needed for this repair project.

ITS Maintenance on I-40, I-65, I-24, and Ellington Parkway
Nightly from 8:00pm until 5:00am

  • There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound at mile markers 210, 206, 208, 211 for ITS maintenance.
  • There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound at MM 80 and I-65 northbound at MM 85.
  • There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound at MM 48.
  • There will be a lane closure on Ellington Parkway at Douglas Avenue.

Interchange improvements on I-24 at Hickory Hollow Parkway
From now through February 2020, The I-24 westbound off-ramp at Hickory Hollow will be shut down to reconstruct the ramp.

Nightly, from 8:00pm until 5:00am, there will be lane closures on I-24 eastbound between MM 60-62 for construction activities.

Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 1) from the Cheatham County line (LM 0) to south of Harpeth Valley Road (LM 5.19)
Daily, from 9:00am until 3:30pm, there will be a temporary lane closure for guardrail installation and paving. At least one lane will be open at all times.

Saturday September 28th and Sunday September 29th, from 6:00am until 6:00pm, there will be lane closures for paving and striping.

Dickson County

On Wednesday, October 2nd, from 7:00pm until 2:00am, there will be a lane closure on I-40 at MM 174 for milling and paving.

 

Robertson County

The resurfacing on US 41 (SR 11) from Lights Chapel Road (LM 4.30) to US 431 (LM 9.32)
Nightly, from 7:00pm until 6:00am, there will be temporary lane closures on SR 11 for milling and traffic signal installation.

Robertson County and Sumner County

S.I.A. Serving Project “Deepdish”
Daily, from 9:00am until 3:00pm, there will be temporary lane closures on SR 52 and US 31W for phase 2 construction activities. One lane will remain open.

From now through spring 2019, the bridge at LM 9 will be reduced to one lane for repairs. Traffic will be controlled by a temporary signal.
