Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s New Providence Pool open for indoor season
New Providence Pool is at 168 Cunningham Lane, off Fort Campbell Boulevard. The pool offers swim lessons, water fitness classes, lap swim, and open recreational swimming through May 3rd, 2020. The facility also offers a children’s pool area, a climbing wall, inflatables, diving board, and a concession stand to purchase drinks and snacks. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office seeks public help locating Vehicle Burglary Suspect
A suspect was seen on video surveillance in the Nick’s Ridge subdivision. Vehicles in the Ivy Bend, Bellshire, Stonecrest and South Woodson subdivisions were also burglarized. Personal items and a firearm were reported stolen. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports Gun discovered on Student at Northwest High School
The 14-year-old, 9th-grade student was carrying a .380 semiautomatic pistol with two rounds of ammunition loaded in the magazine. School administration detected an odor of marijuana on the student and alerted the School Resource Officer.
