Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department (CGW) will observe national Public Natural Gas Week from October 6th to 12th. This annual nationwide event is intended to build public awareness about the value of having a community-owned natural gas utility.
On October 11th, the public is invited to join Clarksville Gas and Water for a hot dog lunch and to learn about the benefits of natural gas.
The events will be from 11:00am to 2:00pm at both customer service centers, 2215 Madison Street and 2015 Fort Campbell Boulevard. Food and giveaways will be available while they last!
Important information on the environmental and cost benefits of using clean, reliable and affordable natural gas will be available.
Clarksville Gas is one of approximately 1,000 public natural gas systems serving more than 5 million customers. These public natural gas utilities are not-for-profit retail distribution entities that are owned by and accountable to the citizens they serve. They include municipal gas distribution systems, public utility districts, county districts, and other public agencies that have natural gas distribution facilities.
