APSU Women’s Tennis to compete in ITA Ohio Valley Regional

 

APSU Men's TennisClarksville, TN – With the fall tennis schedule winding down, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s tennis will take the court one last time in 2019 when they compete at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Ohio Valley Regional, October 17th-22nd, which will be hosted by Middle Tennessee State University at the Adams Tennis Complex in Murfreesboro Tennessee.

Montgomery County proclaims October 23rd as Imagine a Day Without Water

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett signed a Proclamation earlier this week officially recognizing October 23rd, 2019 as Imagine a Day Without Water. Montgomery County joins communities throughout Tennessee and across the country in a day of education and advocacy about the value of water and water infrastructure.

Each day over 200,000 residents rely on 2,064 miles of public drinking water and wastewater infrastructure located in Montgomery County.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department customer online bill payment, WebConnect, and pay-by-phone payment feature, Utility Billing Line, will be down temporarily on Sunday, October 20th, 2019 from 4:00am until 7:00am for standard system maintenance by the provider.

Clarksville Police seek help identifying Vehicle Burglary Suspect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify a suspect involved in some vehicle burglaries/attempted vehicle burglaries and motor vehicle theft in the area of Ellie Nat Drive, Stella Drive, and Winding Bluff Way which occurred between October 13th and October 16th, 2019.

There are three different videos pieced together which show the same suspect unsuccessfully entering multiple vehicles since they were locked.

APSU Cross Country’s Emmaculate Kiplagat, Thomas Porter earn OVC Runner of the Week honors

 

Austin Peay State University Sports - APSU - Governors - Lady GovsBrentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU) cross-country runners Emmaculate Kiplagat and Thomas Porter picked up the Ohio Valley Conferences Cross Country Runner of the Week awards, Monday.

Kiplagat, a graduate student from Iten, Kenya, led the Governors women’s cross-country team at last weekend’s Fast Cats Classic. She finished second among Division I runners at the event with a season-best time of 18:37 over the five-kilometer course.

CDE Lightband’s Sally Martino receives 2019 Power Award
