Clarksville, TN – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) athletics department will host a Preseason Season Ticket Holder event from 4:00pm-6:00pm, Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 at Strawberry Alley Ale Works’ Pilsner Room.
During the event, season ticket holders may pick up their 2019 Governors Basketball Season Ticket packages. In addition, fans wishing to purchase season tickets for the upcoming season are welcome to visit with Governors Ticket Office ticket staff in attendance to help them pick their seat.
APSU Governors head coaches Matt Figger and David Midlick will join athletics department staff as part of a meet and greet event. Fans can take advantage of Strawberry Alley Ale Works’ daily happy hour specials while picking up their tickets and discussing the upcoming season.
Season ticket holders who cannot attend Wednesday’s event can opt to have their tickets and parking passes mailed to them.
The 2019-20 basketball regular season schedule begins November 5th with the Governors hosting a doubleheader. The women’s team will open the season against Kentucky Wesleyan at 5:30pm followed by the men’s season opener against Oakland City. The women will host 13 regular-season home contests while the men will host 14 home dates.
The Governors basketball schedules also include three preseason exhibition dates, beginning Thursday when the men host Union University. The women’s basketball team hosts Tennessee Wesleyan in an October 29th contest followed by the men’s final tuneup, November 2nd, against Lees-McRae.
The Austin Peay State University ticket office is still accepting new ticket inquiries for the 2019 season. Discounts on season tickets are available to active duty and retired military and APSU faculty/staff members.
Fans can join the Monocle Society to enhance their game day experience to include VIPeay Hoops hospitality entry. Monocle Society members can also enjoy preferred parking passes based upon donor level. Membership to the Monocle Society begins at $100.00.
