Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report a 2008 Toyota Avalon stolen out of Centerville, TN on October 20th, 2019 and a 9mm handgun stolen out of Nashville, TN on September 2nd, 2019 were recovered in Clarksville. There were three adults and two juveniles charged in connection with the stolen car and handgun.
Officers spotted the stolen vehicle around 4:00pm, October 22nd in the area of West Dunbar Cave Road.
When a traffic stop was attempted, the driver and occupants fled in the vehicle at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was found later, unoccupied, at Bauling Lane.
Police identified and located the occupants. When officers had contact with the suspects, the stolen 9mm was found at one of their residents.
Additionally, there was marijuana located inside of the stolen vehicle.
It also highlights how vehicles stolen from other locations are found in Clarksville, just as vehicles stolen from Clarksville are found outside of Clarksville.

Marcus Jackson, age 18 (Cited), charged with: Simple Possession and Evading.

The juveniles’ age and charges: 15 Year Old (Driver of stolen vehicle), Theft of Property, Evading, and Simple Possession, and 16 Year Old, Simple Possession and Evading Arrest. The juveniles were released to their parents.
