Marsha Blackburn say USMCA Matters to Tennesseans

 

U.S. SenateWashington, D.C. – On Wednesday, October 23rd, 2109, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) urged her colleagues in the House of Representatives to bring the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement to the House floor for a vote.

“This matters to Tennesseans because [our state] exported $13.7 billion worth of transportation equipment, electronics, machinery, chemicals, fabricated metal, appliances, paper, plastics, rubber, and other goods to Canada and Mexico in 2017,” Senator Blackburn said on the Senate floor.

Series History between Tennessee Titans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – In 11 all-time meetings between the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Titans have won nine of the games in the series, which dates back to Tampa Bay’s expansion season of 1976. The Titans won five consecutive meetings from 1989 through 2003.

The first game between the two franchises was a historic occasion. On September 12th, 1976, the Buccaneers, led by head coach John McKay and quarterback Steve Spurrier, played the inaugural game in team history against the Oilers at the Astrodome. The Oilers, coached by Bum Phillips and quarterbacked by Dan Pastorini, won the game by a final score of 20-0.

APSU Softball team honors fallen Green Berets at Fort Campbell

 

5th Special Forces GroupFort Campbell, KY – The Austin Peay State University (APSU) Governors softball team worked out with members of 5th Special Forces Group (A), but the hardest part of their day was learning about Green Berets they’ll represent in their upcoming season.

“The most important part of today was coming out to this field and being able to realize that there are more important things than softball,” said APSU head coach Kassie Stanfill. “It’s a huge honor for my team to wear these names on their jerseys and it’s amazing that we are getting an opportunity to represent a family that’s lost someone.”

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department has planned a water outage on Monday, October 28th, at 10:00pm on a section of Tiny Town Road between Clearwater Drive and Tara Boulevard for water valve installation work.

The work will take place near the Tiny Town Road and Peachers Mill Road intersection and will only affect the north side of Tiny Town Road.
