Clarksville Department of Electricity - CDE - CDE LightbandClarksville, TN – CDE Lightband power restoration continues again into the night. Currently just over 6,000 customers are without power.

CDE wants to give special thanks to the Nashville Electric Services (NES) for all their help.

Montgomery County issues Generators, Carbon Monoxide Warnings

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – According to Montgomery County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), there were two reported cases of carbon monoxide poisoning today resulting from the use of a generator in an enclosed area.

“Based on today’s incidents, we felt it was important to put out a message to help our residents understand the real and deadly effects of carbon monoxide poisoning,” stated EMS Operations Chief Chris Proctor.

Clarksville Police arrest Man, Juvenile for Homicide on Hand Village Avenue

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – An adult and a juvenile, both out of Memphis, TN have been charged by Clarksville Police with Criminal Homicide in the shooting death of Serdarin Brown, age 22.

On Sunday, October 27th, 2019 at approximately 10:10pm, Clarksville police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 16 Hand Village Avenue. There were spent shell casings located in the parking lot by Austin Peay State University Police.

An Adult and Juvenile have been charged by Clarksville Police in Homicide on Hand Village Avenue of a 22 Year Old Man.

City of ClarksvilleClarksville, TN – CDE Lightband continues to make progress in restoring power to Clarksville customers, reporting at 1:00pm Monday that about 5,800 homes and businesses remained without power after a severe storm Saturday afternoon knocked out service to more than 30,000 customers.

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee Lady Vols basketball hits the court for its lone exhibition game of 2019-20 on Tuesday, facing off vs. NCAA Division II school Carson-Newman at 6:02pm Central at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.

The contest will mark the seventh-straight year UT embarks on a campaign with one exhibition game on its schedule and the 16th season in a row it faces C-N in an exhibition contest. UT is 15-0 in previous preseason meetings and 14-2 all-time in regular-season match-ups vs. the Lady Eagles.

UT opens the season vs. East Tennessee at 6:00pm CT on Tuesday, November 5th, at Freedom Hall in Johnson City.
