Clarksville Police report Man Attempts to Rob Two Different Stores, Comes Up Empty Handed

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are trying to identify a man who attempted to rob two different businesses within a half hour span on October 28th between 6:50pm and 7:20pm. One was located at the 1700 Block of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard and the other was at the 2100 block of Trenton Road.

The methodology the suspect used was similar in both attempted robberies.

The man walked in the store, threatened to harm the clerk, demanded money and, after being unsuccessful in both cases for varying reasons, fled the scene on foot. He made an inference that he had a gun, but never displayed one.

In the video from both businesses, it appeared to be the same male that attempted to commit the robberies. The suspect description was very limited. He was described as a white male with a thin build, wearing all black with a black hoodie.

Also, he may have had short reddish/brown hair, facial hair stubble, and teeth appeared normal.

Clarksville Police know the video is not the best, but someone may still recognize him.
