Habitat for Humanity works with Urban Ministries to collect donations for Thanksgiving food boxes

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County TennesseeClarksville, TN – Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County is partnering with Urban Ministries of Clarksville to collect food or monetary donations to help provide Thanksgiving Holiday Meal Boxes for families in need in our community.

Those who are interested in helping can donate uncooked turkeys, hams, or nonperishable side items.

Donations can be dropped off at the following times and locations:

  • Monday through Friday between 8:00am and noon at the Urban Ministries office located at 217 South Third Street
  • Monday through Saturday between 9:00am and 5:00pm at The Habitat ReStore at 404 Madison Street.

The Meal Boxes will be distributed to lower-income families in need of assistance this holiday season. Distribution will be held Monday (November, 26th), Tuesday (November 27th), and Wednesday (November 28th) at the Urban Ministries office from 8:00am to 11:30am each day. Boxes will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Please bring a photo ID, verification of income for the past four weeks, and proof of monthly expenses to receive a box.
