Chance of Snow minimum Tuesday for Clarksville-Montgomery County

National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The National Weather Service (NWS) reports minor snowfall accumulations are possible today through this evening for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee.

Up to one inch of snow is possible for locations along the Cumberland Plateau. West of the Cumberland Plateau, no accumulation to a few tenths of one inch are expected. A few overpasses and back roads could become slick late this afternoon and overnight on the Cumberland Plateau.

Rain is likely before 7:00am, then rain and snow likely between 7:00am and 9:00am, then a chance of snow after 9:00am.

It will be cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 32 degrees by 10:00am. The wind will be north by northwest from 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

The chance of precipitation is 60%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tonight, there is a 20 percent chance of snow before 7:00pm. It will be cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 22 degrees.
