National Weather ServiceNashville, TN – The Nashville Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Clarksville-Montgomery County, Northern Dickson County, Northern Cheatham County and Robertson County. A Tornado Watch is in effect until 1:00pm CST for Clarksville-Montgomery County and Middle Tennessee.

At 8:08am CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Elkton Kentucky to 10 miles north of Dickson, moving northeast at 60 mph.

Heavy Rain

A wind advisory is in effect until 6:00pm CT for Clarksville-Montgomery County and parts of Middle Tennessee

Locations impacted by Severe Thunderstorms include: Clarksville TN, Springfield TN, Ashland City TN, Greenbrier TN, Coopertown TN, Pleasant View TN, Charlotte TN, Adams TN, Vanleer TN, Cedar Hill TN, Slayden TN, Cheatham Dam and Cunningham TN.

This includes Interstate 24 between mile markers 1 and 31.

Hazard: 60 mph wind gusts.
