Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council (EDC) Executive Committee would like to announce they have received a formal statement of resignation from Jeff Truitt, current, EDC Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Truitt came on board in February of 2019 assuming the role of coordinating, promoting and ensuring economic development in Clarksville-Montgomery County and served also as Director of the Aspire Clarksville Foundation, a privately funded, non-profit organization that helps to fund the initiatives of the EDC and its member entities.
During his time as EDC CEO and Aspire Clarksville Foundation Director – Truitt played a key role in the Aspire VI Campaign, raising a total of $4.2 Million dollars for 2020-2024 initiatives. He has also been integral in the recruitment of numerous industries to Clarksville-Montgomery County, including VK Integrated Systems, announced in August of 2019.
