Clarksville, TN – Manna Café Ministries has received $2,000 from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation just in time to help feed local residents. Manna Café Ministries will use the gift to continue supporting the community by feeding those who suffer from food instability.
“We appreciate the partnership with Food Lion, from allowing us to stage food drives outside of their storefronts to receiving funds from this grant donation. This goes a long way in helping us meet the needs of our community,” said Kenny York, Founder and Director of Manna Café Ministries.
Manna Café Ministries will use these funds to purchase needed items for their food pantry in order to continue providing quality, nutritious food to the community.
Manna Café Ministries serves people in need in Clarksville-Montgomery County through a soup kitchen on wheels, food box distribution, and other vital resources.
Propelled chiefly by volunteers, Manna Café strives to restore hope, dignity, self-reliance, community, and the love of God through Jesus Christ. They believe that it is God’s will that “the poor will eat and be [abundantly] satisfied” (Ps. 22:26).
