That was the case for the Austin Peay State University (APSU) women’s basketball, who trailed for the first 32:58 against the Murray State Racers, before strong defense effort in the fourth quarter led the Governors to a comeback, 69-61, win in the Dunn Center, Thursday.

Volkswagen recalls over 106,000 vehicles because Air Bag Inflators May Underinflate Bag

 

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - NHTSAWashington, D.C. – The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) reports that Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (VW) is recalling certain 2000-2001 TT Roadster, 2000 TT Coupe, 1999 Audi A8, 1998-2000 Audi A6, and 1999-2000 Audi A4 vehicles equipped with Non-Azide Driver air bag Inflators (NADI) that do not contain phase stabilized ammonium nitrate (PSAN) propellant.

Tennessee Lady Vols Basketball falls at LSU, 75-65

 

UT Lady VolsBaton Rouge, LA – The #25 Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team pulled within one but couldn’t overcome a 26-point fourth-quarter surge by LSU, falling 75-65 Thursday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
 
Junior forward Rennia Davis led Tennessee (17-7, 7-4 SEC) with 19 points and six rebounds. Redshirt senior Lou Brown and freshman Tamari Key were nearly in double digits, finishing with nine points each.
 
Khayla Pointer and Awa Trasi were the top scorers for the Tigers (18-5, 8-3 SEC) with 24 and 22, respectively.

Nashville Predators destroy the New York Islanders 5-0

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – In what has been described as their best played game of the year, the Nashville Predators pitched a shutout against the visiting New York Islanders, and former coach, Barry Trotz, 5–0

Craig Smith scored the hat trick tonight, getting the Predators off to a hot start just 35 seconds into the game with his first of three goals and Nashville was off and running, 1-0.

The Predators, who are fighting to make the playoffs, began an ambitious schedule tonight that features eight games on home ice over the next two weeks.
