Clarksville, TN – Taking the court for the second time in less than 24 hours, the Austin Peay State University (APSU) men’s tennis was fell to Dayton, 4-0, Sunday at the Governors Tennis Center.

The Govs fell behind early in the match, when the Flyer knocked off Jacob Lorino and Chrisitian Edison in the No. 1 doubles match.
Then Dayton clinched the doubles point with a win on the No. 3 line, beating Austin Peay State University’s Oliver Andersson and Thiago Nogueira.
In the No. 2 doubles match, the Julius Gold and Anton Damberg trailed 4-5, but the match was left unfinished.
In singles action, Dayton was the first on the board once again, picking up a win over Edison in the No. 1 match-up. The No 3 singles match was the next to go final, as the Flyers beat Julius Gold to move to within one point of clinching the match.
The No. 2 singles match was the next on the board, as Damberg came up just short against the Flyers, who had clinched a match win with their fourth point of the afternoon. In a hard-fought battle in the No. 4 singles match, Andersson trailed narrowly in the third set, but the match was unfinished.
The No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches barely got going in this one, but both were left unfinished. Lorino trailed 1-2, early in the No. 5 position, and Hunter Sanders had built an early, 3-0 lead on the No. 6 line.
