Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department utility construction contractors will begin a 3 week-long underground utility line relocation project beginning Monday, June 1st, 2020 on Commerce Street at the South Riverside Drive intersection.
Clarksville Gas and Water Department announces Natural Gas upgrade work in Welchview Subdivision to resume
Temporary disruption of gas service will be necessary
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Gas and Water Department will resume natural gas distribution system maintenance and service line upgrades in the Welchview subdivision in early June that began several months ago.
The work progress was curtailed due to extremely wet conditions and more recently, the limited operations in response to COVID-19 Coronavirus affected the spring work schedule.
Montgomery County, TN – Notice is hereby given that any member of the public who would like to address the Montgomery County Commission regarding a zoning case, or for the budget public hearing, may come to the Montgomery County Courthouse training room on the first floor on June 1st at 5:00pm for the budget public hearing, and 6:00pm for zoning cases.
Comments will start promptly at 5:00pm and 6:00pm, respectively, and are limited to three minutes.
Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 22,085 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee as of Friday, May 29th, 2020. That is an increase of 406 cases from Thursday’s 21,679. There have been 360 deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.
One more case of the COVID-19 Coronavirus has been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 262. There has been three deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.
FDA Provides New Tool to Aid Development, Evaluation of Diagnostic Tests That Detect SARS-CoV-2 Infection
Silver Spring, MD – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) took a new step to support the agency’s evaluation of diagnostic tests for COVID-19 Coronavirus, by providing a SARS-CoV-2 reference panel.
Reference panels are an additional step to ensure the quality of the tests, validation of new assays, test calibration, and monitoring of assay performance.
