President Donald Trump brokers Historic Deal between Israel, Kingdom of Bahrain

 

The White HouseWashington, D.C. – Securing another agreement, President Donald J. Trump has brokered a deal to establish full diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Israel – the second such agreement between Israel and an Arab nation in less than one month.

Israel and Bahrain have committed to begin the exchange of embassies and ambassadors, start direct flights between their countries, and launch cooperation initiatives across a broad range of sectors.

APSU FootballPittsburgh, PA – Wide receiver Baniko Harley caught four passes for 75 yards but the Austin Peay State University (APSU) football team had few answers for an experienced Pittsburgh squad and fell 55-0, Saturday at Heinz Field.

Tennessee Department of Education releases COVID-19 District Information Dashboard

 

Tennessee Department of EducationNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Education released a dashboard reporting additional COVID-19 information at school and district levels, including numbers of new positive COVID-19 Coronavirus cases in districts and schools.  

The department is requesting districts submit information on a weekly basis to report positive COVID-19 Coronavirus cases in districts and schools, as well as whether or how positive cases may impact the way teachers deliver instruction to students.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 983 new cases of Coronavirus in Tennessee, September 12th, 2020

 

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 165,922 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee as of Saturday, September 12th, 2020. That is an increase of 983 cases from Friday’s 165,009. There have been 1,995 (+38) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

There have been twelve new case of the COVID-19 Coronavirus reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 2,761. There has been thirty nine (+2) deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Riverfest Art Show Winners

 

Jury selects the festival’s top artists for awards

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department has announced the winners of the Riverfest Juried Art Show.

With the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic still having a widespread impact, the show was converted into a 3-day exhibit September 10th-12th, 2020 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

Selected artwork was hung and winning artwork labeled with ribbons, along with a slideshow displayed at the event to recognize all winning artists.

Montgomery County Multipurpose Event Center Road Closures announced

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Starting September 15th, 2020, there will be several road lane closures as crews work to tie-in sewer services to the Montgomery County Multipurpose Event Center (MPEC) site. The closures will take place from 8:00pm to 5:00am.
