Clarksville-Montgomery County Officials Plead for Residents to be Vigilant against COVID-19

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Montgomery County is seeing a rise in the number of COVID-19 Coronavirus cases which have grown considerably over the last 14-day period in comparison to the previous 14 days.

The Clarksville-Montgomery County COVID-19 Dashboard shows an average of 23.93 new cases per day for the previous 14-day period in contrast with the current 14-day period daily rate of 38.67 or a 62% increase in daily cases in the most recent two-week period.

Tennessee Department of Health reports 1,983 new cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Tennessee, October 21st, 2020

 

Tennessee Department of HealthNashville, TN – The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) reports that there have been 223,867 confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus as of Wednesday, October 21st, 2020. That is an increase of 1,983 cases from Tuesday’s 221,884. There have been 2,834 (+44) confirmed deaths in Tennessee because of the virus.

S I X T Y   O N E   new cases of the COVID-19 Coronavirus have been reported in Montgomery County. The total is at 3,933. There has been fifty one deaths in Montgomery County due to the virus.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Halloween Event at Fort Defiance

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – On Friday, October 30th, 2020, prepare yourself for haunting historical tales of woe and terror! Fort Defiance will be hosting their annual Halloween at the Fort from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The event is recommended for ages 8 and over.

Visitors are invited to gather around the bonfire and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while listening to local ghost stories.

United States Gasoline Demand, Supply, Imports Decline on the Week Along with Gas Prices

 

AAATampa, FL – Gasoline demand, according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA), back tracked for the week ending October 9th, 2020 decreasing from 8.90 million b/d to 8.58 million b/d.

Lower demand, even as total domestic stocks decreased by 1.6 million bbl to 225.1 million bbl and imports fell to their lowest rate since September 18th, has contributed to pump price decreases for the majority of the country.
